SIBO Breath Test - Glucose + Lactulose

What is a SIBO breath test?
Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth is associated with bloating that worsens through the day, excess gas, diarrhoea or constipation, nausea and fatigue. It is a commonly overlooked contributor to IBS-type symptoms.
This kit uses both glucose and lactulose substrates, collected at home over three hours, so you are not limited to one part of the small intestine.
A positive result is a marker, not a diagnosis. It tells you and your practitioner that overgrowth is likely and worth looking at alongside your symptoms and history.

What your results look like
Your results arrive in the i-screen dashboard as gas curves — hydrogen and methane plotted against time, with your baseline marked and the reference thresholds shown alongside.
Each substrate is charted separately, so you can see whether a rise appeared early or late in the three hours, and which gas drove it. That pattern is part of the interpretation, not just the yes/no result.
Results comes with a written interpretation from i-screen's in-house dietitian and suggested next steps.
